ONE BIG LOVE, ONE BIG DAY
When avid photographers and artistic souls Caley and Roland wanted to look at wedding stationery through a different lens, they trusted Cheree Berry Paper & Design to embrace their unique POV and push the boundaries of wonder and whimsy. Balancing the couple’s free-spirited nature and detailed focus through masterful typography and an eclectic visual menagerie, we gave rise to a design dreamscape befitting their contemporary enchanted forest.

FUNKY FORESTY FEELS
Our branding for Caley and Roland relied on a striking contemporary typeface, a saturated pre-fall color palette grounded in sage and mossy greens and an overall sinuosity of form. While no monogram or mark was present, the visual identity was no less personalized. By camouflaging imagery symbolic to the couple into the collage patterning, we enhanced the event’s underlying air of mystique.

(TYPE)SETTING THE MOOD
Set in the hero typeface, C+R’s “One Big Love” lockup announced not only the date, but also that this wedding would be wholly unique and organic to the couple. Together with the lush forest background, electric contrasting colors and freeform card shape, our save the date drew guests into the digital medium and this mesmerizing escapist world.
NEW-WAVE NATURAL
A cool orange envelope piqued instant intrigue. But the die-cut wrap featuring an iteration of our collage pattern with exaggerated blooms segued into an even more suspenseful presentation moment – the invitation unveiling. With C+R’s names oversized, stylized, and stamped in gold foil for good measure, we ensured the main invitation wasn’t overshadowed by the surrounding graphics.

SOME ENCHANTED EVENING
Like an immersive art installation, the cavernous SoWa Power Station transformed into a fairytale fever dream. Lanterns dotted towering, twinkling floral displays that looked as though they sprouted from the cement floor, while our living things place cards dwelled within the tablescape. From the waviness of the branding to the bar façade to the cocktail signage to the table layout, every aspect of this event ecosystem felt intentional and harmonious.
