CAROL OF THE WEDDING BELLS
Ring a ling, hear those wedding bells ring, love and joy were all around on Victoria and Philippe’s big day! For this Québécois couple with an affinity for Christmastime, a black-tie affair with holiday flair was on the top of their wedding wish list. And no one delivers stationery that’s classic without being cookie-cutter like Cheree Berry Paper & Design.
AN INVITE THAT TAKES THE CAKE
Our team of tastemakers is always cooking up something special. But this wedding invitation took the creative cake! The evergreen card, trimmed in gold foil and topped with a bow for good measure, tastefully blended wedding traditional with holiday whimsical. Combined with dashes of a twirly swirly script, keepsake reception ornamentation and a die-cut folio you couldn’t wait to dig into, this sweet suite was Christmas spirit paperfied.
TOP-TIER ARTISTRY
We looked to Andy Warhol’s cake illustrations from the ’50s and ’60s for inspiration, using the same analog materials of pen and paint to create the opportunity for chance. This lent a campy/nostalgic feel to the piece, which tied nicely into the nostalgia deeply associated with the couple’s Christmas wedding theme.
Working with CBP was honestly one of our highlights. They are truly a fun, creative and organized bunch we’ll recommend to anyone going through the process, and I’m sure this won’t be our last project with them!

WALKING IN A WEDDING WONDERLAND
V+P decked the halls of Le Ritz-Carlton Montréal so that walking into their reception was like stepping into the snow globe of your most fantastical Nutcracker dreams. Our day-of designs added sugar and spice and everything piped. Scalloped candy cane-colored cocktail napkins spread cheeky cheer, while gift tag name cards and a green place setting scheme recalled the invitation palette. Even our cake illustration came to life on the big day. Complete with a cameo from Santa Claus himself and characters in costume, this winter wedding was filled with marry-ment.
