Why did you choose this TV/movie couple and what’s your fascination with them?
Forrest Gump is a total comfort movie. I leave it playing whenever it pops up on TV. I'm constantly quoting it – my parents have a dog named Jenny, which we always say in Forrest's voice :)
Describe your design in detail.
The style leans into their Alabama hometown with a nostalgic, soft Southern charm. Their signature clothing is brought in through plaid patterns, his khaki linen folio, and boho watercolor florals. The invitation card plays off the movie title fonts with F&J sitting on his signature bench. A white feather (seen bookmarking the beginning and end of the movie) is tied to the folio. Forrest Gump's life milestones become the wedding events, with a Bubba Gump rehearsal dinner and ping pong welcome party.
