Why did you choose this TV/movie couple and what’s your fascination with them?
I like that we get to see the Queen and Kin in all of the Bridgerton seasons as well as in Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story. It felt fitting that they would have a vow renewal since we’ve seen their marriage through their younger and older years.
Describe your design in detail.
I pulled from patterns in their clothing, home décor, the garden wall where they first met and Lady Whistledown’s society papers. The invitation covered in gold script invites everyone in the ton to a royal vow renewal. I included the royal coat of arms on the top of the invitation. The wisteria on the wrap’s interior is a call back to their first meeting, and the liner quote is from when they first fell in love. The Queen enjoys teatime with her ladies, so the teacup insert invites a special few to celebrate the day after the vow renewal ceremony.
