THE ART OF LOVING

Sally and Charlie weren’t afraid to step outside convention when it came to their wedding. But they trust Cheree Berry Paper & Design to step up to the challenge of composing a visual story that could stand comparison with their art museum venue. Walking the fine line between traditional form and contemporary vibrancy, we created a collection of visuals filled with intention and joy.

THE BOLD TYPE

In addition to requesting we take their inverse SC/CS initials in a more abstract logo direction, the couple also commissioned a hand-painted floral pattern. Pulling in all the palette’s base colors of poppy, chartreuse and lily pink, this custom pen-and-watercolor motif played nicely with the tonal stripes featured across the stationery design. Topped with typography that held the handwritten quality of an artist’s signature, our branding spoke Sally and Charlie’s distinct visual language.

DESIGN DOPAMINE

Classic in format but modern in feel, our print stationery for Sally and Charlie was a masterclass in blending contrasting styles. A color-blocked save the date card immediately signaled that joy was to be found at The Joslyn. The specialty techniques and tactility within the invitation suite – letterpress printing, moiré paper, blind debossing, a bright beveled edge, a die-cut band hugging it all together – then underlined the significance of the occasion.

SENSING A PATTERN

For the celebration, we brought our best to the table, including scaling up our floral to seamlessly translate into custom tablecloths. Did you catch the small difference in the allover textile pattern? Hint: it’s a camouflaged purr-sonalized detail.
