Neckties, Knots and New York City
The Ties That Bind
Gold foil-stamped accents and a bold blend of fonts and patterns created a singularly suave set perfectly suited for Jesse and Justin’s New York City nuptials at a downtown Soho loft. A gatefold opening secured by a bellyband, a welcome party coaster, a surprise series of nesting envelopes and an after-party ticket produced theatrical flourishes fitting for the actor and activist.
Joining J&J
The couple’s tailor-made mark interlocks the J&J monogram within an infinity knot, a symbol of everlasting love. Originally designed for their invitation suite, this custom crest later adorned the front door of their family home, carving memories into wood as well as etching them on paper.
The Tie Bar
Guests found a dapper diagram that illustrated the appropriate way to tie a bow tie tucked within a branded navy blue envelope. The stylish stationery accessory tied in the grooms’ favorite fashion statement and their nonprofit organization, Tie the Knot, now Pronoun, which advocates for LGBTQ civil rights throughout the United States and beyond.
Little News Inside...
Seal it and stamp it and mark it with a “B.” Put it in the mail for baby makes three! The couple’s holiday card announced the arrival of their new addition and their new role as dads! Using graphic cues from their wedding invitation, the series of blue-hued nesting envelopes revealed a companion crest to the classic knotted J&J – a gold foil-stamped B monogram for baby Beckett.
