Raw, Rustic & Romantic

Save the Date Full of Surprises
Chrissy and Jon announced their impending nuptials through a series of nesting envelopes. The save the date drew its color palette from the couple’s own cruelty-free fashion brand, which they repped on the big day by donning his-and-hers faux leather moto jackets. The wedding weekend kicked off with a celebration at a chocolate factory, where guests received custom chocolate bars cast from a mold inspired by the stationery design.

Melding Motifs
The invitation suite mixed botanical imagery, vellum, deckled paper, an earthy palette, and an imperfect script to achieve a rustic but modern mood. A collection of vintage stamps representing the groom’s roots, the bride’s love for all things natural and the location where the couple first met embellished the envelope.
Raising the Bar
During the cocktail hour Chrissy and Jon’s friends and family socialized while sipping on their favorite drinks, as indicated on their reply cards. A formally dressed wait staff carried customized tea towels that listed the names of the guests they were to serve.
Wallflower Wonder
The seating chart sprung to life in a wall of framed hand-pressed flowers that featured the bride’s favorite blossoms. Guests found their names hand-calligraphed on the frames, which doubled as floral favors.
Rustic and Romantic
The second venue, the bride’s family’s lake house, communicated a more casual vibe. Chrissy and Jon greeted guests at the final location with field note booklets bound with thread, accented with gold foil and filled with fun facts, a map and timetable.
