Watercolors, Wildflowers & Wondrous Surprises

Botanical Beginnings
A laser-cut, watercolor save the date unfolded to tell Caroline and Kyle’s love story. Individual vignettes illustrated the settings of some of their most memorable moments, from first date to engagement. A symbolic squirrel skittered across the scene and carried the stamp.

Caroline’s love for gardens and Kyle’s love for the outdoors inspired the wedding design. Their stone-gray letterpress script invitation slid into a pocket featuring a pressed wildflower. Guests revealed the couple’s favorite Claude Monet quote when they removed the invitation from its pocket, a hidden detail that touchingly and subtly paid tribute to the place where Kyle proposed – Monet’s garden at Giverny.
A Garden Party
To continue cultivating this lush ambiance, pressed flowers and ferns helped to create table numbers reminiscent of vintage botanical field notes, while escort cards sat atop a rustic table turned flower market station full of blossoms and greenery. At the end of the evening each guest received a floral favor, nosegays from the flower station packaged in personalized paper cones.
