Charlie’s Bar Mitzvah

WINTER IS COMING OF AGE!

When the hockey-playing, slope-shredding guest of honor’s bar mitzvah overlaps with the Winter Olympics, the celebration theme is clear as ice crystals! To bring about a modern-cool but still youthful aesthetic, Cheree Berry Paper & Design created a fanfare of print and digital work that combined seasonal, sporting and religious symbolism in in one sleek wintry mix.

Our torch event logo burned bright against the metallic-meets-Team USA color palette and medley of luxe materials. Together with our suite of iconographic patterns that wove in and out of the event’s lifecycle, this bar mitzvah branding was a perfect 10.

AN ACTION-PACKED INVITATION

Unveiling our printed invitation was an event in and of itself, an experience so dynamic that Bob Costas could have delivered a play-by-play.

A boxvelope blanketed in our vintage stamp motif opened to a snowy white tray complete with blind embossed ski tracks and commemorative gold medal closure. Can you spot the cameo of Charlie in action? The parade of cards that followed showcased elevated textures and printing techniques with all the precision and pageantry of an opening ceremony.

GOLD MEDAL MOVES

A key component of the event design, our collection of digital environmental designs spanned the walls to set the scene. Gold medals swinging, torches spinning, snowflakes falling, hockey sticks flipping – this rotation of animations raised the bar on the party atmosphere, helping transform the industrial city venue into a cozy Olympic village.
