Augusta and Jonathan

Wedding Brand: Tuscany, Textures & A Tipsy Pelican

DESIGNING LA DOLCE VITA

For Augusta and Jonathan’s long-awaited wedding, Cheree Berry Paper & Design orchestrated a symphony of sublime Italian reveries and modern Manhattan sophistication. At times evoking Slim Aarons snapping the swooniest, swankiest shots poolside at Il Pellicano, at others reflecting the couple’s tailored-with-a-twist sensibility, our visual suite was eclectic elegance itself.

A&J’s save the date booklet embodied the bold and the bellissimo. We packed its petite pages with red foil stamping, Slim Aarons-inspired photos, bright yellow cabana stripes and effervescent typography. Complete with a surprise-inside seasonal greeting, our save the date design got guests dreaming about the idyllic days to come under the Tuscan sun.

LESS IS AMORE

Amidst a prolonged, pandemic-induced pause, Auggie and Johnny decided to pivot and tone down their wedding aesthetic. Once pointed in a more minimalistic direction, we delivered a wedding invitation that encapsulated the essence of Augusta’s interior design style: refined materiality. Featuring tier upon tier of rich texture – a lush wax seal, a silk moiré envelope liner, a transparent vellum wrap, a wood veneer website card, a sprinkling of blind debossed details – this marry mailer became the model of high-touch luxe.

CIAOS & VOWS

After much anticipation, April 2022 finally arrived. And Augusta and Jonathan’s storybook wedding weekend was worth the wait. We planned and produced an array of day-of pieces that that blended seamlessly into the stunning environment. A martini mascot, playful and pun-full menus and a whimsical monogram exuded as much charm and romance as a Dean Martin serenade. No wonder our happy hearts sing – our love of seeing guests interacting with our work has given us wings!

Every one of CBP’s thoughtfully designed details made a memorable trip to the Tuscan coast all the more magical. Even after the wedding’s conclusion, our creations remained as souvenirs, allowing guests to relive the joy of this once-in-a-lifetime occasion.
