CIRQUE DU BIG DAY
Welcome, one and all, to an unforgettable “I do” extravaganza! When it came to Sam and Will’s not-your-traditional-Nantucket wedding, Cheree Berry Paper & Design’s brand of creativity was just the ticket. Prepare to be amazed – we put on our top thinking hats and pulled out all the ultra-personalized, outside-the-box stops to realize this fun-loving pair’s carnivalesque vision.
JUGGLING JUXTAPOSITIONS
Collaborating closely with event ringmasters Billy Evers and Jenn Hearon, we crafted a big day brand that walked the tightrope between retro and modern. More contemporary tags evoking hand stamps and peak flags combined with classic carnival taglines for an eclectic identity system. Plus, a popping colorama palette reinvigorated the nostalgic pinwheel pattern that Vogue recognized as “the foundation of all the creative elements of the wedding.”
Step right up and save the date
A round of applause for our spectacular digital save the date design. With a ticket dispensing down and tearing off against a background of rotating radial stripes, this animated theatrical trailer set the stage for S+W’s fun affair and announced that wedding bells would soon be ringling.
THE GREATEST SHOW OF PERSONALITY
Our print wedding stationery was a real showstopper. Shipped in a faux FedEx kraft mailer, the suite was a memorable experience that encouraged full audience participation.
A pinwheel envelope untwisted to reveal a spinning dial invitation that rotated through the weekend events. The reply card, returned via manilla envelope, featured a custom marriage mad lib based on S+W’s love story. And everyone was a winner with a scratch-off after party card! Topped with a roll of commemorative carnival tickets, this invitation was everything you could ever want and need.
I had been a fan of CBP long before I got engaged. They totally got what we were going for and pushed the creative boundaries to make our invitation (and more) unique and memorable. They were so collaborative and thoughtfully pieced together every detail to set the tone and tell our wedding story. Guests have told us they showed our invite to anyone who walked in their home and will be keeping it as a memento of our incredible weekend! That is the genius behind CBP, their work is worth keeping!

Love On Top Under the Big Top
S+W raised some serious ballyhoo the whole big day through. When it was time for the reception, we helped put the “tent” in “attention-grabbing” as our pinwheel pattern came full circle, wrapping around the structure’s exterior and spilling onto the stairs. Stepping right up and walking inside, you wouldn’t believe your eyes! Variations of our hero graphic graced bar menus, game booths and the dance floor alike, which was the place to be. When the bride is Beyoncé’s former assistant, we wouldn’t expect anything less.
